Flyball
Flyball is a fun sport for both dogs and their owners! The sport is essentially a relay race with 4 dogs on a team that race over a course of 4 hurdles spaced 10 feet apart and a box at the end of the hurdles. The dogs jump the hurdles, step onto a spring loaded box that shoots out a tennis ball, then race back over the hurdles so the next dog can go. It is fast, fun, and exciting for both the dogs and the owners! The Stumptown Racers Flyball Club practices at InBark every Sunday, so come by and check it out! Practice is a people only event, so please leave your pups at home. You can also watch our flyball video on our News/Photos tab, or visit the Stumptown Racers website at : http://stumptownracers.org/Stumptown_Racers_Flyball/Home.html
The Stumptown Racers Flyball Club also offers flyball lessons at InBark on Sundays at 6:00pm beginning on January 8th. The cost for the class is $75 for a 5 week session. This class is for dogs who have participated in their foundation class and for dogs who have never tried flyball but would like to. Dogs must be five months old or older, be toy or ball motivated, have good recall skills, and non-aggressive towards dogs or people.
